Blinken also affirmed that their service and sacrifice throughout the coronavirus pandemic “exemplify the spirit of the recent Eid holiday.”
The U.S. Secretary attached his tweet with a video clip in which he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Muslim workers.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, he extended his warmest wishes to Muslims around the world on Twitter. “I wish you all a happy Eid al-Adha. Eid Mubarak and Hajj Mabrour.”

Moreover, he stressed that they honor the Muslims worldwide who are spending the holiday separated from their families and friends and following health and safety guidelines, especially those who were not able to participate in the Hajj pilgrimage.

“We are hopeful that many pilgrims will have an opportunity to perform their pilgrimage once it is safe,” he added.
