UAE leader Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed the developments in Gaza, on Friday, with Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Presidency announced.
In a phone call, Bin Zayed reviewed the bilateral relations between both countries and the means of developing them to benefit both nations.
Both leaders asserted the urgency of achieving permanent ceasefire in Palestine, the protection of civilians according to the codes of the international law, the establishment of permanent system for delivering the humanitarian aid to Palestine, and the rejection of any forms of forced placement of the Palestinians.
Both also underscored the neccessity of intensifying the efforts towards peace through supporting the two-state solution.
They also discussed the outcomes of the latest COP 28 that was hosted in UAE.
