US President Joe Biden, and Chinese President Xi Jinping will have their highly anticipated meeting today, Wednesday, in San Franciso.
Xi arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in San Franciso.
The Chinese leader was greeted at the San Franciso Airport by several US officials including US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Governor Gavin Newsom, and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom.
Xi and Biden will meet at Filoli Gardens in Woodside for one-on-one talks as the world's two powers are looking forward to improving.
They have pledged to cooperate together to fight the impacts of global warming, calling the climate crisis “one of the greatest challenges of our time."
