After calling his top campaign leaders to distribute future positions, US President-elect Joe Biden is set to announce imminently his new administration structure that will take over the leadership of the White House next January after the handover of power.

While those familiar with the decisions refused to reveal the internal discussions prior to the official announcement of the appointments, they confirmed that former campaign manager Jane O'Malley Dillon was chosen as the deputy chief of staff of the White House; the campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond, Louisiana Representative, and campaign advisor Steve Ritchette would take over senior positions in the new administration.

This comes as President Donald Trump continues his legal battle to change the election result in his favor, despite increasing signs of his weak position.

Trump, who did not accept defeat in the elections that took place two weeks ago, prevented Biden from accessing the secret intelligence reports that are usually presented to the successful candidate in the elections during the transitional period.

On the other hand, the Republican Trump moves his faltering efforts to nullify Biden's victory to a federal court in Pennsylvania, where any further legal setback is likely to eliminate the distant possibilities of achieving his desired goal.

The British newspaper "The Guardian" said that a number of law firms representing Trump announced their withdrawal from his representation in Pennsylvania, and the withdrawal of appeals against the results of the state elections that showed his rival Joe Biden's victory, given the "futility of appeals."

The newspaper confirmed that Porter Wright Morris Law Firm, leading Trump's campaign efforts to challenge the results of the Pennsylvania presidential election, abruptly withdrew the lawsuit it had filed on behalf of the campaign. A legal adviser to Trump described the last-minute changes as "routine".
