In an open meeting on CNN, US President Joe Biden answered questions from American citizens, which included several different issues, including his plan to confront the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19), health care, prosecution of former President Donald Trump, and immigration policies.

On his administration's efforts to provide vaccines against the Coronavirus, Biden said that "by the end of next July, the United States will have more than 600 million vaccine doses sufficient to vaccinate every American against the Coronavirus."

Biden added that he hopes that the USA will be able to return to normal conditions by next Christmas.

He urged all Americans to get vaccinated, and said: "If you have a chance to get the vaccine, you should get it as soon as you can, regardless of the emergence of new strains of Corona."

And about his predecessor, Biden said that "during the past four years all the news was about Trump, and I will work for the next four years to be news about the American people."

On the other hand, White House press secretary Jane Psaki said that the number of Corona vaccine doses to various states will be increased by 57% over the number that they received when President Joe Biden took office.

Psaki said in a press release that the states will receive 13.6 million doses per week, starting this week, after previously receiving about 11 million doses.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 53 million doses of vaccines have been distributed as of Sunday, and this number includes 14 million people who received their second dose of the "Pfizer" or "Moderna" vaccines.

According to statistics conducted by the American network "NBC", the average daily infection with the Coronavirus in the United States has decreased to less than 100,000 cases for the first time in months.
