US President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that the US won't lift sanctions unless Iran halts uranium enrichment.
Moreover, this decision came in order to bring Iran back to the negotiating table in the light of the 2015 nuclear deal.

Biden's statements came during his interview In a CBS News interview that will be aired tonight. Also, he told CBS' Norah O’Donnell that the U.S. will not lift its sanctions upon Iran's request it stops enriching uranium.
Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei asked the US to lift its sanctions for participating in any talks.
Khamenei tweeted, “If they want Iran to return, the US must lift all sanctions,” adding that Iran will return to its "commitments” in the case of lifting the sanctions.
