Biden Allocates $200 Mln in Military Aid for Ukraine

US President Joe Biden directed to give Ukraine powerful weapons and military aid worth $200 million, Sky News Arabia reported.

Noteworthy, Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said on Thursday, that half of the total population of the Ukrainian capital has left the city with the advance of the Russian army forces in the city, AFP reported.

 

The United Nations announced on Thursday, that more than 2.3 million people have left Ukraine, according to media reports.

Ukraine’s government has banned the export of wheat, oats and other staples that are crucial for global food supplies as authorities try to ensure they can feed people during Russia’s intensifying war, according to a statement published on the Ukrainian government website on Wednesday.

 

On Saturday, Russian-Ukrainian war entered its sixteenth day in a row, after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launching of military operations on Ukraine, on the morning of February 24.

 

The Russian armed forces continue to implement their military operation in Ukraine, which led to a rise in wheat prices.

Earlier, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Roman Leshchenko announced that Ukraine is banning the export of grains and other products that are vital to the global food supply amid Russia’s assault on the country.
