BA Honors Participants in Hawass Center for Egyptology Activities

Dr.Mostafa El-Feki, the director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass honored the youth who participated in the activities of Zahi Hawass Center for Egyptology in the cultural communication sector of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).

El-Feki praised the role the center plays in spreading culture, raising archaeological awareness, deepening Egyptian identity, correcting misconceptions on the ancient Egyptian civilization, and implementing the political leadership vision represented in focusing on the young people who are the mainstay of the nation.

 

Hawass thanked the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and its director Dr.Mostafa El-Feki for adopting the activities of the center and providing unlimited support for the implementation of the activities of the center.

He also told the youth about his passion for antiquities, and talked with them about his experience in facing the challenges and achieving success.

El-Feki and Hawass honored the lecturers and trainers, such as Egyptologist Dr. Ahmed Badran, Professor of Egyptian Antiquities at Cairo University.

The ceremony, hosted by presenter Aya Ezzat, was attended by more than 600 Egyptian students, Dr. Hussein Abdel Basir, director of the Antiquities Museum at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and other officials.
