Saudi Journalist Hattan El Naggar denied on X all reports about Benzema's departure from the Saudi club. He added that a meeting between Benzema and some officials of the club took place to reach a settlement between the player and the club.
El Naggar continued that the officials agreed with the player to stay with the club.
During the past few weeks, strong reports indicated that the player will depart the club to return to Europe, referring that Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United are interested in signing the player during the winter transfer window.
The reports expressed that Benzema received harsh fan- criticism after the exit of Al Ameed from the FIFA Club World Cup.
