The Command of the People’s Defense Forces organized the nineteenth educational symposium for students of Beni Suef University, with the participation of Nabila Makram, Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, to raise awareness of the challenges of the Egyptian state in the current stage.
The symposium comes within the framework of the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to develop the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the various sectors of the Egyptian people.
Makram delivered a speech, expressing her deep appreciation for the role played by the Armed Forces in protecting the homeland and the sacrifices they are making for its sake.
On his part, Mansour Hassan Ahmed Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, said that the symposium aims at forming national awareness and enhancing the spirit of belonging among our young students.
During the symposium, the Commander of the People’s Defense Forces delivered a speech in which he conveyed to the audience the greetings of General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, stressing the importance of organizing such events to preserve the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the youth.
The symposium also witnessed lectures on the role of smart forces in achieving Egyptian national security and combating ideological terrorism and extremism by elite lecturers, in addition to displaying a group of artworks that highlighted the talents of several students from Beni Suef University.
