Belgium secured a 2-0 victory over Croatia in an international friendly on Tuesday as both teams continued their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for Belgium in the 38th minute before Romelu Lukaku sealed the win deep into stoppage time with a goal in the 95th minute.
Belgium have been drawn into Group G of the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside Egypt, Iran, and New Zealand.
The Red Devils will be looking to build momentum ahead of the tournament, where they are expected to be among the contenders for a place in the knockout rounds.
Croatia, meanwhile, will compete in Group L alongside England, Ghana, and Panama.
The 2018 World Cup runners-up and 2022 third-place finishers enter the tournament with high expectations after establishing themselves as one of the most consistent teams on the international stage over the past decade.
