German giants Bayern Munich decided, on Thursday, to suspend Senegalese star Sadio Mane after his fight with his teammate Leroy Sane.
It was revealed that Mane punched Sane in the locker room after the German team fell 3-0 to Manchester City in the Champions League.
It was reported that Mane's punch left a mark on Sane's face.
The officials of Bayern Munich held an emergency meeting on Wednesday after the incident and confirmed it.
In an official statement, the German club said: "Sadio Mane, 3, will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday."
It added: "The reason is misconduct by Mane after FC Bayern's Champions League game at Manchester City. In addition, Mane will receive a fine."
It is not revealed whether Mane will be suspended for only one game or more.
