FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart are set to battle for the 2025-26 German Cup title in a highly anticipated final at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.

Bayern head into the final looking to add another trophy to their collection and reinforce their dominance in German football, while Stuttgart hope to cap off an impressive campaign with a major title against the Bundesliga champions.

The Bavarian giants have won just two of their last five matches, although a commanding 5-1 victory over Cologne helped restore confidence after a difficult spell marked by inconsistent performances and defensive struggles.

Much of Bayern’s hopes will once again rest on Harry Kane, who has been in outstanding form throughout the competition.

The England captain has scored seven goals in the tournament so far and remains the team’s biggest attacking threat heading into the final.

Stuttgart, meanwhile, have managed only one win in their last five games, drawing three and losing once.

Historically, Bayern have dominated the fixture, winning 12 of the last 15 meetings between the clubs.

Stuttgart have managed just one victory during that stretch, while two matches ended in draws.
