Bayern Munich qualified for the UEFA Champions League semifinals after a dramatic 4-3 victory over Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie.
The match began at a furious pace, with Real Madrid striking first after just 35 seconds through Arda Guler. Bayern responded quickly, as Aleksandar Pavlovic headed in the equalizer in the sixth minute.
Guler restored Real Madrid’s lead in the 29th minute with a superb free kick, but Harry Kane brought Bayern level again in the 38th minute.
Kylian Mbappe then put Real Madrid ahead once more just before halftime in the 42nd minute.
The second half remained tense until a major turning point in the 86th minute, when Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Bayern capitalized on the advantage, with Luis Diaz scoring the equalizer in the 89th minute before Michael Olise completed the comeback with a stoppage time winner in the 90+4 minute.
With this victory, Bayern Munich advance to the semifinals, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain, who previously eliminated Liverpool from the competition.
