German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping a close eye on Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush as his future at Manchester City becomes uncertain.
According to FourFourTwo, the 26-year-old forward is no longer a regular starter under Pep Guardiola, particularly after the arrivals of new attacking talents like Ryan Cherki and Antoine Seminio.
Despite limited playing time this season, Marmoush recently regained his scoring touch, netting in City’s win over Wolverhampton in the Premier League.
Bayern faces competition from top Turkish clubs, including Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, but the Bavarian club is reportedly serious about securing the deal to strengthen its attacking line.
Marmoush’s current market value is estimated at €65 million, and he has an impressive international record for Egypt, scoring 10 goals in 46 appearances.
Fenerbahçe is said to be prepared to offer €30 million, while Manchester City’s willingness to sell remains possible, given the club’s financial fair play obligations following recent heavy spending in the transfer market.
Despite the speculation, reports suggest Marmoush prefers to stay in the Premier League, with interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham, and is reportedly not keen on a loan move.
