Archaeologist Dr. Hussein Abdel Bassir, director of the Archeology Museum at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, said that declaring Egyptian Businessman Mohamed Abu El-Enein as a Mediterranean Noble Laureate is a great honor for Egypt and appreciation for his role in maintaining the Egyptian-Mediterranean relations.

“In my opinion, the selection of Abu El-Enein for this award is in recognition of his pioneering role in strengthening communication across the Mediterranean and pushing the relations between the countries of the region towards more coexistence, communication, peace and brotherhood,” said Bassir.

He noted that Abul-Enein’s role in using Egypt's soft power to disseminate its culture among its neighbors is prominent. “Abul-Enein supports Egypt’s economy through creating jobs for youth to keep them away from terrorism and drowning in the Mediterranean on their quest for an unsafe job opportunity.”

Bassir pointed out that Abul-Enein is doing what the Mediterranean governments collectively are trying to do to open up prospects and work for youth in the region.

“No one can deny the role of Abul-Enein and his institutions in aiding the Egyptian government to achieve its ambitious programs that pursue the hopes and dreams of the Egyptian citizen in the current period,” added Bassir. “Sada al-Balad Media and Journalism Foundation is providing a great amount of targeted media that is now significantly missing.”

In conclusion, he congratulated Abu Al-Enein for this great award which came in its place and emphasized the significant journey of this sincere Egyptian over decades.
