Basketball Champions League Season 9 Draw Unveiled

The curtain on the 2024-25 season of the Basketball Champions League was officially raised following the conclusion of the draw for the Qualification Round tournaments and the Regular Season.

Carlos Cabezas, a legend of reigning BCL champions Unicaja and a former FIBA Basketball World Cup and EuroBasket champion, alongside Czech international Vojtech Hruban, the first player in BCL history to score 1,000 career points, were on hand in the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball to assist with the draw procedure.

The Season 9 field includes teams from 29 countries, between the Regular Season and the Qualification Rounds.

All 28 clubs that are placed directly in the Regular Season had participated in the play-offs for the title of their respective domestic leagues last season.

There are 17 domestic league champions at the starting line, five of which are in the Regular Season, while the remaining 12 are from countries that will battle it out in the first two (of four total) Qualification Round tournaments.
