Başakşehir Interested in Signing Trezeguet

Turkish Super League outfit İstanbul Başakşehir is reportedly interested in Egypt and Aston Villa winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet’s services.

Steven Gerrard has made a couple of world-class signings for his Aston Villa side, having acquired Everton left-back Lucas Digne and former Liverpool teammate Philippe Coutinho.

Trezeguet has only returned to the pitch recently after recovering from a long-term knee injury in April of last year; however, he was still included in the Egypt squad for the Africa Cup of Nations.

In case Trezeguet completes his move to Turkey, it will be his second stint there, after representing Kasimpasa between 2017 and 2019.
