3 FC Barcelona players were among the nominees of the 2025 Laureus World Sports Awards.
There blaugrana nominees across the different categories, namely Aitana Bonmatí, Lamine Yamal, and Barça Women team.
Aitana Bonmatí, who won the Sportswoman of the Year award last year, as well as second Ballon d'Or, was among the nominees of this year's awards.
Barcelona's breakthrough star Yamal had an extraordinary 2024 after his outstanding performance in 2024 Euro with Spain. He was announced among the candidates for the Breakthrough of the Year prize.
He won the Golden Boy and Kapa Trophy.
FC Barcelona Women also had another all-conquering year, including the second Champions League in a row.
