Barcelona booked their place in the final of the 2026 Spanish Super Cup after delivering a dominant 5–0 victory over Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday evening at Al Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Saudi Arabia.
The Catalan side produced a devastating first-half display, scoring four goals in just 16 minutes.
Ferran Torres opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, followed by goals from Fermín López, Ronny Bardghji, and Raphinha in the 30th, 34th, and 38th minutes respectively.
Barcelona became the first team to score four first-half goals in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final.

At 22 years and 241 days old, Fermín López became the second-youngest player to both score and assist in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final.
The record is topped only by his former teammate Gavi, who achieved the feat at 20 years and 156 days against Athletic Bilbao in 2025.
Barcelona Eyes Another Super Cup Title
Barcelona now moved one step closer to extending their record as the most successful club in Spanish Super Cup history, having already won the competition 15 times, ahead of Real Madrid’s 13 titles.
The team head into the final with high confidence after leading La Liga following their recent victory over Espanyol in the Catalan derby.
