After more than two years of redevelopment, Barcelona have finally brought life back to the new Spotify Camp Nou, marking their return to the iconic stadium after 894 days away.
On Friday, the club opened the doors of the renovated Camp Nou for an open training session attended by around 23,000 fans.
Tickets for the event sold out on Wednesday, while the club streamed the entire session live on its official YouTube channel.
Under the guidance of German coach Hansi Flick, the players enjoyed the crowd and the atmosphere of their newly upgraded home.
As soon as they stepped onto the pitch, the Barcelona anthem was played, adding to the emotion of the moment.
It was a special day for many players who had never set foot in the new Camp Nou, including Flick himself.
Barcelona stars Marc Casadó, Dani Olmo, Fermín López, Gerard Martín, Marc Bernal, Pau Cubarsí, and Drew experienced the stadium for the first time despite being part of the youth or reserve teams.
New signings Juan García and Rony Bardghji also made their first appearance on the famous pitch.
Barcelona hope to make their official return to Spotify Camp Nou for their La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on November 22, following the international break.
