FC Barcelona have submitted a new contract offer to striker Robert Lewandowski as the club looks to secure his services beyond his current deal.

According to reports from Sport, the proposed extension would keep the Polish forward at the club until June 2027.

However, the offer includes a significant salary reduction, estimated between 40% and 50% of his current earnings, which are believed to be around €24 million annually including bonuses.

Barcelona’s management has reportedly held discussions with Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, to negotiate the terms of the new deal as part of broader contract renewal plans within the squad.

The 37-year-old forward is expected to make a decision on his future in the coming period, in consultation with his family.

He has attracted interest from clubs in Major League Soccer and the Saudi Pro League, as well as European sides including Juventus and AC Milan.

Despite external interest, internal expectations at Barcelona suggest Lewandowski is inclined to stay, although no final agreement has been reached as negotiations continue.
