Spanish media reports have highlighted new developments regarding the future of Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at FC Barcelona from Manchester United.

According to Marca, Rashford is keen to make his move to Barcelona permanent and is even willing to accept a reduced salary to facilitate the transfer.

The English forward has reportedly impressed during his loan spell and is open to continuing his career in Spain.

However, negotiations between the two clubs remain complicated.

Manchester United are said to be demanding around 30 million euros for a permanent transfer, a fee Barcelona are currently unwilling to meet.

The English club is looking to maximize financial return, especially given Rashford’s strong performances this season and his contract, which runs until 2028.

Rashford, 28, has featured in 45 matches for Barcelona across all competitions this season, including La Liga, domestic cups, and the UEFA Champions League.

He has contributed to 26 goals, scoring 13 and providing 13 assists, strengthening his case for a permanent stay.

The forward previously had a short loan spell at Aston Villa last season before returning to Manchester United.

His current form has reportedly attracted interest from other English clubs, adding further complexity to Barcelona’s efforts to secure his long-term future.
