Bahrain, Qatar Advance to Khaleeji 25 Semi-Final

On Friday, Bahrain and Qatar national football teams advanced to the semi-final of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji 25).

The two teams qualified from the second group of the two-group tournament.

Bahrain secured their qualification to the semi-final after setting a 1-1 draw with Kuwait.

Mahdi Al- Humaidan scored the first goal for Bahrain in 26, before Shabib Al Khaldi scored the equalizer for Kuwait in 45.

In the same context, Qatar's game against UAE also settled with a 1-1 draw.

UAE scored first in 77 by Fabio Lima, before Qatar's Tammem Al Abdullah got the equalizer two minutes before the end of the game.

At the end of the stage group, Bahrain came first by seven points, and Qatar came second by four points.

Previously, Iraq and Oman national football teams advanced to the semi-final of the Khaleeji 25, on Thursday.

The semi-final of the tournament will start on Monday.
