Baghdad Governor Visits Sada ElBalad TV Channels

Dr. Riyad Nasser al-Adadh, head of the Baghdad Provincial Council visited on Sunday Sada ElBalad satellite channels` headquarter during his tour at the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC). 

Al-Adadh was accompanied by EMPC Chairman Osama Hekal.

Al-Adadh inspected the studios and the channels` control rooms. He also inspected the montage units, the news section, archive, and the documentaries unit.

He praised the modern and advanced technologies enjoyed by the channels, in addition to the distinguished qualified cadres, stressing that it serves as a national media platform.

The head of Baghdad Council pointed out that Egypt has a pioneering role in the media industry field proved by the most recent technology adopted by Sada ElBalad channels. 

Sada ElBalad staff conveyed prominent businessman Mohamed Abul Enein`s greetings to al-Adadh.

Noteworthy, Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) is an information and media complex located near Cairo in Egypt. It covers an area of about 35 million square meters (more than 600 feddans).

Construction of the project began in 1992. Phase I was completed in the same year. Then President Hosni Mubarak laid the foundation stone for EMPC phase II on 29 May 1994 and inaugurated it in June 1996.

The EMPC was launched in 2000.
