BA signed deal of cooperation with National Council for Women

Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) signed a protocol of cooperation with the National Council for Women on Tuesday.

On his side, Dr. Mostafa El Feki, the director of BA, said that he is looking forward to such a cooperation with the National Council for Women, referring to the effective role of it.

Signed on the occasion of the National Day of Women, El Feki underscored that the BA is giving special care for women’s issues, in addition to supporting them with special programs for improving their skills.

Moreover, he indicated that this protocol will contribute in enhancing the ties between various regional and international organizations.

On her side, Dr. Maya Morsy, the head of the National Council for Women, expressed her sincere pleasure of the cooperation between both institutions for the sake of widening the horizons of women’s knowledge.

She added that the protocol symbolizes a bright message for women from the prestigious scientific and educational spot as Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The cooperation will include organizing mutual activities, workshops, and lectures for improving the talents of women in different fields.

Furthermore, the activities will open the door for women to take part in various community-related strategies such as sustainable development and decision making.

Also, the events will spot the light on the achievements of women in the society and supporting them.
