Dr. Mostafa El Feki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Director of the National Library of Korea signed an agreement on Tuesday to collaborate in a variety of cultural and scientific fields.
The agreement also included a protocol for exchanging scientific products such as academic research papers, documents, and scientific references.
On his side, El Feki asserted BA's keenness in enhancing mutual cooperation with various cultural and scientific institutions around the world, referring to the presence of several initiatives that drew the interest of the BA with different institutions worldwide.
Regarding the director of the National Library of Korea's feedback, he expressed his sincere happiness of visiting the BA and asserted his keenness on deepening the bilateral relations between the Korean Library and the Egyptian cultural hub in the field of exchanging knowledge in several domains.
In addition, the Korean delegation toured the BA's sections, libraries, and museums, and had a brief background on the featured books at the BA, which impressed the visitors.
Finally, both officials exchanged gifts and souvenirs that represented both libraries' most important releases, such as BA's Alexandria Photographic Reference.
