Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov announced today, Friday, that his country’s army took over 4 cities and 3 small towns, in addition to more than 200 villages in Karabakh.

"So far, four cities, three small towns and more than 200 villages have been released from occupation," Asadov said during a video conference of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

“With the participation of international experts, Baku will carry out an inventory and damage assessment based on physical evidence, including photos and video,” he added.

On the other hand, in light of the conflict between the two countries over disputed Nagorno-Karabakh, Iran has sent troops and vehicles to the northwestern regions of the country bordering Armenia and Azerbaijan for the second time in less than two weeks.
