CAIRO, SEPT 9 (SEE)- Australian Ambassador to Egypt Neil Hawkins bid farewell to the Minister of Antiquities Khaled Al-Anani on Sunday at the Ministry's headquarters before ending his term in office.
Hawkins praised the recent role of the Ministry of Antiquities towards enriching archaeological work and protecting Egyptian antiquities, making it a source of positive news throughout the world.
He expressed his great passion for the Egyptian civilization, which prompted him to attend all the archaeological discoveries held by the ministry.
Al-Anani presented the Australian Ambassador with a copy of the statue of Kaaper expressing the depth of relations between the two countries. The Ambassador gave a large photograph of a group of Australians at the Pyramids of Giza in exchange.
