The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Sunday.
Extremely hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in the North Coast and south of the country.
The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads to Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast.
Wind will be active occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 33°C in Alexandria, 32°C in Matruh, 40°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 42°C in Aswan.
