AUC Ranks among 200 Best Universities on Int'nal QS Indicator

American University in Cairo AUC was classified among the best 200 universities across the world on QS Ranking.

The ranking measures rate of employing  of the university  graduates.

Percentage of supplying jobs for AUC reached 86% within one year following graduation.

AUC has advanced to the category 191-200 this year after it had been ranked within the category 201-250 the previous year.

It is worth to mention the QS annual ranking includes the 500  best universities in the world.

 The international QS Ranking for employing university graduates is based on five indicators.

Those indicators are:

1-Reputation of the educational institute at the employers or job creators.

2-Distinguishing and effectiveness of the graduates.

 3-Partnerships between universities and the employers.

4-Network of the employers and graduates.

5-  Rate of employing the graduates.

 AUC

The AUC records the highest rate of network of relations  or communications between employers and graduates.

The QS Ranking searches the appearance of employers at campus via shows of hiring people, offers of jobs submitted by companies.

It includes any other means that widen network of the graduates communications along with opportunities to get training  or a job in those companies.

Maha El-Gendy, Executive Director of the Career Counseling Center (CCC) at “AUC” said it has entered into partnerships with employers via many ways.

Offering jobs may be carried out at campus, the ”CCC”  works to bring the employers in vocational education of the students.

Professional of various industries are called to present features of the available jobs to support operation of experimental learning.

The second higher rate attained by AUC was at ranking of distinguishing and effectiveness of the graduates.

According to that ranking, creativity,  entrepreneurship and generosity of persons were evaluated to spot the universities which graduate people can lead change in the world.

Moreover, the AUC recorded higher indicators compared to universities in the other African countries.

The QS Ranking help potential students spot universities which provide jobs and enable them to communicate with employers.

The available jobs depend on students themselves.

Also efforts exerted by universities play an important role in providing care to the excelling and enthusiast students.

It is worth to mention that the “CCC” was established in 1991 as the first one in the Middle East. It serves more than 6000 students and alumni every year.

The center launches shows for hiring every semester to enable the students to meet  the potential employers.

“ CareerWEB” platform provides the employers  opportunities to present chances of training or jobs to students and alumni throughout a year.
