AUC invites Queen Rania for the centennial celebration

President of the AUC Francis J. Ricciardone Jr. revealed that AUC invited Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah '91, Queen of Jordan, to speak at AUC's centennial celebration in February 2020. “We have no confirmation yet, but we are still hoping she will honor us and accept our invitation,” he said.

He added that Queen Rania of Jordan graduated of the AUC years before.

He said that journalism in Egypt and other parts of the world has an important message so the university cooperates with it, respects and appreciates that message.

He added over his address on inaugurating the AUC club for journalists and media men which established in the headquarters of the university in Cairo.

He pointed out that this year is a fruitful one as the AUC marks the 100th anniversary. There many other successes like opening Tahrir Cultural Center along with eleven centers for qualifying the graduates.

The AUC cooperates with Alexandria University and it cooperates with the Nile, Japanese and Zewail universities.

It is worth to mention that AUC club in Cairo for media men comprises a host of journalists. It offers exclusive services to members such as attending some activities, workshops, theatre shows, movies, exhibitions and discount on books at outlets of bookshops.
