At least 10 people were killed in landslides in Minas Gerais state, Brazil, Al Qahera News channel reported.
The Ipatinga mayor's office said nine people died in the city, where eight centimeters (3.1 inches) of rain fell within one hour.
Another landslide destroyed everything in its path along a hillside street in the city's Bethania neighborhood.
