On Monday, Aston Villa announced the signing of promising Egyptian winger, Omar Khedr, who made his move to the Premier League from the recently-joined club Zed FC.
The Birmingham-based club said in a statement: "The 17-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement with the club and will join officially on 1st July 2024 when he turns 18, signing a long-term deal."
The arrival of the player marks the first signing between two clubs since announcing their collaboration agreement, early this year.
Khedr was received by Aston Villa's legend the Egyptian Ahmed El Mohamady, the former Captain of the First Egyptian national football team.
