Aston Villa Fans Looking Forward for Trezeguet's Debut

Egypt International Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet completed his signing with newly ascended English Premier League Club Aston Villa. The 24-year-old will join the club from the beginning of next season without giving details on his contract.

European newspapers were quick to react on the Egyptian joining the English Premier League. The Daily Mail highlighted the deal and also quoted coach Dean Smith, who confirmed that Trezeguet will cause lots of problems to his opponents, pointing out that he is a player of a distinctive style that plays on the sides beautifully.

The Daily Mail further revealed "Trezeguet of the African Cup of Nations has moved to Aston Villa for 8.75 million pounds."

The Sun highlighted : "After the Egyptian player's great showing at the African Cup of Nations, scoring one goal and assisted another, Aston Villa completed the signing of the young Egyptian."

Trezeguet was quick to react to his signing, stating he now accomplished one of his biggest dreams: playing in the English Premier League. He stated to the club's official website "I'm very happy to be here, I wish to please the club and the fans".

On joining his national team's captain at the club Trezeguet stated: "It's a huge honor for me to play alongside my captain at the Egyptian national team Ahmed El-Mohammady; I was keen to ask him lots of questions about the club during out time together in Egypt.

Trezeguet concluded that he is looking forward to taking part in his team's first match against Tottenham.
