It is worth mentioning that Nasri, born on May 15, 1969, is a Syrian singer and TV host. She was born in Damascus to a middle-class couple, her father Moustafa Nasry, was a well-known Syrian composer and singer.

The Syrian megastar began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious and children’s songs when she was four years old.

She sang the theme song “Qessas al-Sho’oub (Stories of People”) of the cartoon show “Hekaayat ‘aalamiyah” (Global tales).

Nasri made her musical debut in 1993 with “Law te’rafou” (If you know). The album had four songs in the oriental operatic TARAB style composed by great Egyptian composers.

Divorce

Nasri and her husband Palestinian-American film director, Tarek Al Eryan have split, after a marriage that lasted for over 10 years.

Rumors and reports have been circulating since October 2019 about their porce after Al Eryan cheated on the Syrian superstar with Syrian actress, Nesreen Tafesh, which she denied.

On January 6, the Syrian megastar confirmed that she and her husband have separated. Nasri posted a photo of herself with Al Eryan on her Instagram account confirming that “With the utmost regret and sorrow” she has separated from the father of her sons (Adam and Ali).
