Inter Milan announced on Monday the departure of Albanian midfielder Kristjan Asllani to Torino on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy.
Asllani, 22, joined Inter in the summer of 2022 and made 99 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
He played a key role in helping the Nerazzurri win Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and two Italian Super Cups. His move comes after Inter bolstered their midfield with the summer signings of Petar Susić and Andy Diouf.
Meanwhile, Spanish reports claim that French defender Benjamin Pavard has opened the door to a potential move to Barcelona during the current transfer window. The 28-year-old is said to be keen on a new challenge and the chance to play in the Champions League with the Catalan giants.
According to ElDesmarque, Pavard views Barcelona’s project as a suitable step, especially given his versatility to play both as a center-back and a right-back. However, financial and administrative issues within Barcelona’s management remain an obstacle, making a deal difficult before the transfer window closes.
In addition, Sport reported that Barça coach Hansi Flick is not particularly keen on signing Pavard, instead favoring a left-footed defender to replace Iñigo Martínez, who recently joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Pavard remains under contract with Inter until the summer of 2028, giving the Italian club the upper hand in determining his future.
