On Friday, Mostafa Asal, the world's no.2, advanced to the final of 2024 Qatar Classic Squash men's tournament.
He qualified for the final after defeating Joel Makin 3-1. The results of the quarters were 5-11, 11-5, 11-6, 11-4.
By this victory, Asal made 14 wins in a row on PSA several tournaments and reached a ninth successive final victory.
He will face world no.4 Diego Elias who qualified for the final after eliminating world no.1 and the Egyptian icon Ali Farag.
Farag's lost his title after his defeat.
Early this week, PSA announced that Farag, and Asal kept their rankings as world's no.1 and 2 respectively.
