Spanish newspaper AS has denied reports suggesting that defender Alexander-Arnold is set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, stressing that the player remains firmly part of the club’s plans despite recent speculation.

According to AS, claims circulating in the English media that Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa informed the injured English defender he would not be relied upon in the coming period are unfounded.

The newspaper clarified that the recent meeting between the coaching staff and Alexander-Arnold was solely to check on his recovery from injury and to offer full support during his rehabilitation.

The report emphasized that there is no truth to suggestions that Real Madrid are considering offloading the player, whose contract with the club runs until June 30, 2031.

It added that Alexander-Arnold remains committed to succeeding with Los Blancos and helping the team compete for major trophies.

While similar rumors have surfaced since the start of the season, linking the defender with a return to the Premier League, particularly through Manchester City, AS underlined that the player’s priority is to establish himself at Real Madrid.

The newspaper also highlighted that Alexander-Arnold has adapted well to life in Madrid, noting that the main focus for both the club and the player is a full recovery from the injury he sustained against Athletic Bilbao in early December.

AS concluded by praising the defender’s performance in his most recent appearance against Bilbao before the injury, pointing to his quality, attacking contribution, precise passing, and strong vision on the pitch.
