Syrian Artists Association Refutes Duraid Lahham's Death Rumors

A few hours ago, the Syrian Artists Association issued an official statement refuting the trending Duraid Lahham's death rumors.

The statement expressed, "Lahham is fine and all spread news is fake." Also, the statement added that the Artists Association phoned the artist and he is ok. It also added that other artists should stop sharing fake news.

Dima Lahham highlighted in an interview with the Lebanese Al Jadid that her father's health is good and there is no need for all those horrible news for gaining more shares or traffic.

Born in 1934, Lahham is one of the most celebrated and oldest Syrian actors. He wrote, directed, and performed dozens of best recognized Syrian films and series in the history of the Middle East.

His most known works include: "Al Abaa' Al Sighar" (Young Fathers), "Celina," "Ana Aa'ntar" (I am Aantar).

His latest work was aired in April 2020 and it is called "Sharre' Chicago" (Chicago Street).
