Max Dowman, the young star of Arsenal FC, made history in the Premier League after scoring against Everton FC during their match in round 30 of the competition.

According to Stats Foot, the English player, aged 16 years and 73 days, became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.

Dowman broke the previous record held by James Vaughan, who had scored in the competition at the age of 16 years and 270 days earlier in his career.

Arsenal won the match 2–0. After the opening goal late in the game, Everton pushed forward aggressively in search of an equalizer.

Their goalkeeper even joined the attack during a corner kick, leaving the goal unguarded. The ball was cleared by Arsenal’s defense, allowing Dowman to sprint forward and score the second goal into the empty net.

With the victory, Arsenal moved to 70 points at the top of the league table, holding a 10 point lead over Manchester City, who were scheduled to face West Ham United FC later on Saturday.
