Football fans will turn their attention to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening as Arsenal welcome Manchester United in a blockbuster fixture from Round 23 of the 2025–26 Premier League season.

The encounter carries major implications in the title race and the battle for a top-four finish.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30 PM local time, with both teams approaching the match under very different circumstances but with equally high ambitions.

Arsenal head into the showdown at the top of the Premier League table with 50 points, enjoying an outstanding campaign under Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners have produced a well-balanced season, combining defensive solidity with attacking efficiency, recording 15 wins, five draws, and just two defeats so far.

With 40 goals scored and only 14 conceded, Arsenal have justified their position at the summit.

However, their domestic momentum has slowed slightly in recent weeks after back-to-back goalless draws against Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, reopening the title race.

Arteta’s side responded in emphatic fashion on the European stage, defeating Inter Milan 3–1 in the UEFA Champions League to maintain a perfect record and remain top of their group.

Manchester United, meanwhile, arrive in North London sitting fifth with 35 points, collected from nine wins, eight draws, and five losses.

The Red Devils’ season has been marked by inconsistency, having scored 38 goals while conceding 32.

United received a significant morale boost following an impressive start under interim manager Michael Carrick, who guided the team to a statement 2–0 victory over Manchester City in the previous round.

The result restored belief and renewed ambition within the squad ahead of a demanding run of fixtures.

Despite the 15-point gap separating them from league leaders Arsenal, Manchester United will be hoping to spring another surprise as they push to re-enter the top-four race, setting the stage for a compelling contest in North London.
