Arsenal will sign the Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe in the the next few days after they reached an agreement with Lille.
The 24-year-old player will undergo the routine medical check-up before signing to the Gunners in a deal up to £72m, according to SkySports. The transfer is expected to be completed in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Pepe will become the Gunners' fourth deal during this summer transfers, following forward Gabriel Martinelli, midfielder Dani Ceballos, and defender William Saliba.
Napoli also expressed their interest in the signing of the player, who decided to move into the Gunners.
The Ivorian player, who delivered an impressive performance with his side last year, netted twenty three goals in Ligue 1 last season.
Pepe participated with the Elephants at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, held in Egypt where his team were defeated from Algeria in the quarter-finals to exit the tournament.
Arsenal will play their next pre-season clash against Angers on Wednesday, July 31 at 19:30 CLT. The Gunners is set to begin their adventure in the Premier League on Sunday, August 11 against Newcastle.
