The Armenian government announced a six-month ban on Turkish imported goods, in protest against Turkey's support for Azerbaijan in the dispute over Karabakh region.

"Russia Today" news channel, on Sunday, quoted the Armenian Ministry of Economy as saying that the ban will not lead to an increase in prices in the country, since imported goods from Russia, Belarus, Iran and China can replace the Turkish ones.

Noteworthy, Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on November 10, under Russian mediation, to stop the war in Karabakh, exchange prisoners, and deploy Russian peace-keeping forces in the region.

Since November 10, opposition parties have been organizing protests in Yerevan, demanding the resignation of Pashinyan, because he signed, along with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a statement on a ceasefire in the Karabakh region, deploying Russian peace-keeping forces and handing over of part of the territory In the Karabakh to Azerbaijan.
