Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki on Wednesday sent a cable of greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
In his cable, the defense minister asserted that Armed Forces permanent readiness support the leadership and the Egyptian nation, protect its interests and supreme goals, and achieve the hopes and aspirations of Egypt and its great people.
Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The defense minister and chief of staff also greeted army personnel and those who take part in UN peacekeeping missions on this anniversary.
