It has been merely days since Ariana Grande dropped her seventh studio album, "Eternal Sunshine". But after a major weekend in which she both performed on Saturday Night Live and presented an award at the Sunday Academy Awards, Grande wasn’t done giving her fans new music.

On Monday, as promised over the weekend, the singer released what she dubbed the “Slightly Deluxe” version of the album featuring four additional tracks, including her previously heard duet with idol Mariah Carey on the single “Yes, and?” and a collaboration with Troye Sivan on “Supernatural”.

The new version of the album also features an acoustic version of “Imperfect For You” and an acapella take on “True Story”.

The quick-turnaround expanded LP comes after "Eternal Sunshine" topped Spotify’s most-streamed chart immediately upon release, becoming the most-streamed album in a single day so far this year.

"Eternal Sunshine" consists of 13 songs and follows her yearslong break from music, having spent the time first since 2020’s "Positions" focusing on her R.E.M. Beauty business and her role in the upcoming live-action adaptations of the Broadway musical Wicked. She stars as Glinda the Good Witch alongside Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.

In the past three years, the pop star's endeavors have only spanned guesting on other artists’ songs such as “Die for You” with The Weeknd and “Met Him Last Night” with Demi Lovato, and releasing a 10th-anniversary edition of her debut albums, "Yours Truly".

Released on all digital streaming platforms on Friday, "Eternal Sunshine" is Grande’s incredibly vulnerable reflection on the personal and artistic growth she experienced following her divorce from Dalton Gomez, a transformative "Saturn Return", and recalibrating her relationship with music after being busy for some time to film her upcoming Wicked movies.

Grande kicked off the year 2024 with the release of “Yes, And?”— the first single from the LP — and later received a remix featuring fellow chart-conquering diva Mariah Carey.
