Ariana Grande announced Sunday on Instagram that she will be releasing her first new solo music in three years single, "Yes, And?", on Friday (Jan. 12).

"Yes, and? ♡ 1.12," she captioned a photo of herself in red lipstick, which appears to be the artwork for the soon-to-be-released project.

The pop star, who also shared a pre-save link and news of a physical CD on her Sweetener Instagram page, released her most recent studio album "Positions" in 2020. The album's deluxe version came out in January 2021.

Grande has yet to release music of her own since "Positions" with her last original song being "Just Look Up" with Kid Cudi for the soundtrack of the Netflix film "Don't Look Up," released in December 2021.

She has also collaborated on multiple singles including a remix of The Weeknd's After Hours hit "Save Your Tears" in 2021, and a 2023 remix of his Starboy track "Die For You".

Grande has also joined Jimmy Fallon and Megan Thee Stallion for 2021's "It Was a... (Masked Christmas)," and Kelly Clarkson for 2021's "Santa, Can't You Hear Me."

In August 2023, the singer celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut album "Yours Truly" with an album reissue featuring new live recordings.

Grande has been focusing in recent years on both her REM Beauty brand and her role in the upcoming movie adaptation of "Wicked", in which she plays Glinda the Good Witch.

In December, the singer-songwriter expressed her overall gratitude for 2023, which she described as "one of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life."

"I've never felt more at the mercy of and in acceptance of what life was screaming to teach me. i've never felt more fulfilled by or present in my work, being able to cherish every moment," she wrote.

"I gave everything i could have possibly given of my heart and of myself to the projects i was fortunate enough to be a part of and learned so much from every brilliant, beautiful, soul that i had the privilege of creating art with and crossing paths with this near,".

Grande also updated fans on the process behind her seventh studio album last month, sharing a photo dump on Instagram that included a clip of her taking a snooze on a studio couch.

In the clip, she curled up as a collaborator asked her about her mindset during "almost the last day of this album."

As she explained at the time, she was "so tired but so happy and grateful."

In the post, Grande tagged her reported new manager Brandon Creed, and a few music collaborators, including producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, who previously worked with her on tracks such as "No Tears Left to Cry," "Problem" and "Side to Side."

"See you next year ♡," Grande captioned.
