Messi became the second top scorer for the national teams, following Cristiano Ronaldo.
On the other hand, Colombia advanced to the final after defeating Uruguay in the semi-final 1-0.
Earlier, Uruguay first football national team captured the bronze medal of 2024 Copa America after defeating Canada 4-3 by penalties.
Both teams had a strong game and it ended with a 2-2 draw, therefore, they were shifted to penalties.
