Turkey have officially announced their final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with rising star Arda Güler named as one of the key players expected to lead the team’s campaign.
Head coach Vincenzo Montella confirmed the squad on Tuesday, featuring several of Turkey’s top European-based talents as the national team prepares for the tournament hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19.
The squad includes Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Juventus forward Kenan Yıldız, Bayern Munich defender Ferdi Kadıoğlu, and Bologna midfielder Orkun Kökçü, alongside Real Madrid’s Arda Güler.
Montella also made several notable exclusions, leaving out players such as Ersin Destanoğlu, Mehmet Şengezer, Atakan Karazor, and Yusuf Sarı.
Turkey have been drawn into a challenging Group D, where they will face the United States, Australia, and Paraguay in the group stage.
