Arab Parliament Speaker Praises visit of Sisi, Bahraini King to UAE

Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament stressed the importance of the visit paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates, which comes within the framework of affirming Arab support for the UAE and the keenness of Egypt and Bahrain to enhance Arab cohesion in Confronting the Houthis.

Asoomi praised the keenness of the leaders of Egypt and Bahrain to enhance Arab solidarity with the UAE, reiterating the Arab Parliament’s support for UAE and the measures that the UAE will take within the framework of its right to respond to the treacherous Houthi attack on its lands.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament condemned the terrorist acts committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist group to target the security, stability and safety of  UAE and its citizens, stressing that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are an integral part of Arab national security.

Asoomi called on the international community to take a strict position against the terrorist Houthi group and classify it as a terrorist group that harms international peace and security.
